EXEMPTION (INFORMATION) LETTER OF SCRF

What kind of document is it?

The exemption (information) letter of SCRF (State Commission of Radio Frequencies) is an explanatory document confirming that import of goods can be carried out without the license or the conclusion (permit).

What organizations give it out?

Exemption (information) letters of SCRF are given by the State Commission of Radio Frequencies.

In what cases do you need it?

The exemption (information) letter of SCRF can be issued in the following cases:

• if section 2.16 of the Uniform list of products doesn't extend to goods to which measures of non-tariff regulation in trade with the third countries, the Regulations on import of the radio-electronic equipment and high-frequency devices of the civilian use, including those which are built-in or function as a part of other goods, into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union are applied;
• if the goods are specified in the List of radio-electronic equipment (REE) and (or) high-frequency devices (HFD) of the civilian use, including those which are built-in or function as a part of other goods, which don’t require the license, the conclusion (permit) or the data from the unified register when those goods are imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
