DECLARATION OF COMPLIANCE TO GOST P
What kind of document is it?
The declaration on compliance to GOST P is a document by which the applicant certifies compliance of quality and safety of a product with requirements of national (GOST P) or interstate (GOST) standards, or other regulations. Unlike certification, when the declaration process takes place, the applicant does the main actions for confirmation of compliance of a product and then bears the responsibility for the quality of the declared product himself.
What organizations give it out?
Registration of the declarations of compliance to GOST P is carried out by the accredited certification bodies, which are included in the Register of certification bodies.
In what cases do you need it?
The declaration of compliance to GOST P needs to be prepared on a product, which is specified in the uniform list of products, which are subject to declaring. This list is approved by the resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 1, 2009 No. 982.
